MADAGASCAR’S GRAND ENTRY AT PARIS GAMES WEEK

LOMAY at the 2018 Paris Games Week

Lomay represented Madagascar at the Paris Games Week international video game show, from October 26th to 30th.

The Malagasy production company was exhibitor at the Africa Corner stand. During these 5 days, it presented the pre-alpha version of its action-adventure game Dahalo. This game astonished the testers by its graphic quality, its realistic landscape and typical of the southern region of Madagascar. In addition, the studio announced the sequel to its racing game Gazkar which is currently under development.

PGW is the first world trade show where Lomay exhibited and where it met its international audience. The existence of video game development in Africa surprised many visitors. At the same time, the participation of Lomay, the first Malagasy representative at Paris Games Week, intoxicated the hearts of Malagasy video game enthusiasts through social networks.

 

The event not only allowed Lomay to make a name for itself on the international market ;  » but more importantly, it gave us the opportunity to showcase the country digitally. Matthieu Rabehaja, co-founder of Lomay expressed his pride :  » The Paris Games Week was quite a milestone for us not only for the team but also for Madagascar.
